Happy Friday — I hope it’s a joyful one!
Here’s a question, exercise, and resource to spark curiosity, consciousness, and change.
Curious
Lesson
A lesson I learned the hard way:
Problems inside of our control can either be solved or avoided with curiosity.
When I can’t solve a problem — it is because I am not approaching it with enough curiosity.
Either I am not curious enough to find a solution or I am too closed-minded to ask someone else for advice.
When I experience friction in conversations, I don’t approach the person with enough curiosity.
Many interpersonal conflicts stem from this issue.
We make assumptions rather than remain curious.
If we use our two ears to listen, and our mouths to ask more questions — we would have:
Better relationships
Less friction
More awareness
Fewer problems
Question:
Think about a current problem you’re facing. How can you approach it with greater curiosity?
Conscious
Exercise
Pause for a moment. Scan your surroundings.
Identify one thing you can appreciate in this moment.
How did it make you feel?
Change
Resource
In two previous posts, I shared 5 Critical Career lessons.
Those 5 lessons are what helped me to:
Align my career path with what mattered most to me
Get promoted 3 times in less than 3 years
Lead a team of 18 sales professionals generating over $10 million in annual revenue
Pursue building my own business
I’ve taken those lessons and built a tool to help you achieve what you desire and ensure you’re never stuck again.
You can access it for free via the button below.

I try to operate out of curiosity. Sometimes I operate out of raw emotion. It's a work in progress. Thanks for the building tool, I'm going to check it out! Perfect timing because I'm juuuuuuuuat starting my own biz.
Aaah. Curiosity. The behaviour we need during the reflective pause to move from stuck to solve!!!!
Thanks for the nugget!!
