No is one of the most powerful words in the English language. We do not use it enough. It is not mean, or disrespectful. When leveraged right, we set our boundaries, which allows us to say more of the "yes" to that that serves others better. It conserves our energy.
Thank you for this reminder! You outlined it brilliantly. For me, it’s liberating each time. An intentional “NO” serves as a powerful confirmation of where I am headed and, more importantly, who I am becoming. My future self cannot afford that "Yes," as it is already on its own "Yes" trajectory. Saying "No" to old ways, opportunities, people, and anything misaligned helps keep this new version of myself on track—one that demands respect and focus.

Thank you, Grace :) Delighted with the experience
I spent the last 25 years in the music business. We called that the business of no back in the day. So I agree with the premise.
Nice! What did you do?
I still have a dormant independent label.
Nice! Keen to hear how the message shared in my newsletter feeds into your business?

Exactly, it's essential to prioritising what matters. I agree that it's not used enough. I need to use it more often.
